Parlay Calculator

A parlay bet combines multiple individual wagers into a single bet. All selections (legs) must win for the parlay to pay out. The appeal of parlays is that the odds multiply together, creating potentially massive payouts from a small stake. A two-leg parlay at -110 each turns standard juice into a roughly +264 combined line. Adding more legs increases both the potential payout and the difficulty of winning. Sportsbooks love parlays because the compounding probability works heavily in their favor with each additional leg.

The math behind parlays is straightforward. Convert each leg to decimal odds, then multiply all legs together. A three-leg parlay with decimal odds of 1.91, 2.00, and 1.50 produces combined decimal odds of 5.73, meaning a $100 bet returns $573. The key insight is that each leg's built-in vig compounds. If the sportsbook has a 4.5% edge on each leg individually, a four-leg parlay gives them roughly an 18% edge. This is why sharp bettors are cautious with parlays and tend to stick to smaller leg counts where the compounding vig is more manageable.

Correlated parlays are wagers where the outcomes are related. For example, betting that a team wins and the game goes over the total. If the team is winning, they may be scoring a lot, which pushes toward the over. Sportsbooks restrict or ban highly correlated parlays because they offer better expected value than the raw multiplication of odds would suggest. When evaluating parlays, always consider whether you would make each leg as a standalone bet. If any single leg does not represent a good value bet on its own, it weakens the entire parlay. Successful parlay bettors treat each leg as an independent value play that happens to be combined for a larger payout.
